Quote & Challenge for Conference

Well I have two quotes that I would love to share with you. I translated them from Portuguese so I hope that it works out.
First is:
We acquire true faith when we have trials and hurt. Your faith will grow, you will progress, and your testimony will be strengthened.

Second is:
There is no other greater power in the world than that of a mother that loves God( Heavenly Father) and listens(hears) to his counsel to help her guide her children. No greater power can a mother have that makes the Lord her best friend and counselor.

I know that these two quotes are true. I have really engulfed in reading. I love it so much. The mission is great. I love you all so much . I know that this is the work of God. I know that Christ loves me and you. I know that The Book of Mormon is the key to help us and other People. I know that Prayer is the key to happiness and the church is the key to enduring through the week and that going to the temple is the way for us to return to our home celestial. I know that this is the true church.

P.S.

I have a challenge for all of you.

I would love for you to watch every single session of conference and Read at least 6 chapters in the Book of Mormon in between each session and then read 6 chapters after each session Saturday and Sunday. That is a total of 24 chapters in two days. I really want you to try this. I know that you will find answers and that the Spirit of the Lord will be poured out round about you. I know that you will love the Lord even more and God will bless your life's. You will really find some answers. Also I really want you to invite the whole family to do this. After I would love for you all to tell me how it was. It will be a little harder for me but I will try to do it as well.
Also Read these scripture’s

Alma 38:5

Isaiah 58:9

Doctrine and Covenants 1:38

Love My Mission

I cannot believe that I am almost at my one year mark. It really came so fast. All of my clothes are still with me but I don’t know how strong. I have not even used all my white shirts yet. I am holding off on two of them. I will pull one of them out when I get one year in the mission and the other when I get a year and a half.

I made a quote the other day that i really like. It is like this : The world and life are difficult but the Gospel of Jesus Christ is easy. For me this quote means that when we live in the world it is difficult but when we live with Christ in our life or in the Gospel it is easy. Christ made that promise for us. Go unto to him so your burden can be made light.

NEVER GIVE UP ON CHRIST AND NEVER LOSE YOUR FAITH!. I know that everyone has their challenges. If we think our life is hard think of the Savior. If he suffered so much then why are we any different? The great thing is that because he suffered we have someone by our side to comfort us. He will always be there to put His arms around us. We are promised to have eternal joy. To suffer just for a little to gain eternal joy is all I need to do. then that is what I will do. I love this gospel so much. Without trials we cannot grow. Without trials we cannot make it back to our father in heaven.

Tell everyone that I love them. I will be learning the piano again when I get home I think. I hope to have the opportunity.

I know this is weird but I love my challenges for in them is where I find strength. I love this gospel so very much. I love my investigators. It is the greatest thing to see people change for the better. I know this is the true church. I know that I have the chance to have an eternal family and live with you mom and my brothers and sisters again. For this I am so grateful. I know this life is hard but it is possible. At times you have to struggle to feel the complete joy of the victory. No one likes a 60 to 0 game. Everyone wants to have a 90 to 89 game with a 3 point shot at the buzzer. I want to be tested so that I can prove to God that I love him and want to live with him and that I deserve to live with him. I love my mission so much. It is weird that I already have one year almost.

Well the work is going good. It is a lot different and my comp is different but that is ok. We are having a good time together. We are working a lot with newly baptized members. We have a huge hill of about 800 people. We baptized one and now we are teaching about 30 of her friends and it just keeps growing. We are always receiving references and finding a lot of people by knocking on doors. All around we are finding people to teach in every way possible. Now we just have to use the spirit to convert them.

The Atonement

Well i just hope that I can fulfill my calling and bring people unto our father in heaven. I love this work so much. I am so happy for all the blessings that the savior has given me. I am so grateful for my mission. I love my new area and my new comp. it is a lot different but I love it. It all just depends on our attitude I decided. Well this week has been pretty chill. I was just trying to get used to the new life as a Zone leader. I will have more to talk about next week.

I love this gospel and the hope and happiness it gives me. I learned this week a little more about the atonement and about intelligences. It was a really great study. All things have an intelligence. Christ didn’t make miracles when he cured people. All he did was God Science. He talked to the intelligences and told them to get back to work. That is how the Priesthood works. The intelligences honor God and the priesthood when we are worthy and they obey and get back to work or move and do something else. So when Moses moved the Red Sea all he did was talk to the Intelligences and told them to separate for a little bit. Isn’t that amazing!!!! I love this gospel and the knowledge I am gaining every day.

Moved Area's//Called to be Zone Leader

I moved areas again. I am now in Santos and I was called to be a Zone Leader. I don’t know why but I will accept it. Every time I think I am so weak the Lord calls me to a higher calling. I think he is trying to show me something. I think that means that I have to just humble myself and put it in his hands. If I do that he will make me into something amazing. I am nervous about the new calling. Before I only had 3 companionships to take care of but now 8 or 7. But anyway I am excited for this opportunity.
Well my new Comp is Elder Sanches. He is Brazilian and he is great. He used to be a model. So in other words we are the best looking companionship in the mission. haha. He seems to be really great. We will have a great time I think. I am in a huge city right now with a ton of people but I think I will like it. We will soon find out. Also great news I am going to go and play some Basketball right now. The first time in a long time. Also I am sleeping in a Hammock. It is great.
This mission is so great. I really have loved every minute of it. It has been hard but I have been learning so much. I love the lord so much and I love this Gospel. The Lord is my light so why should I fear?
Picture's soon to come He keeps saying.
